Amino is a San Francisco-based company changing the way people invest in their healthcare. They needed to introduce their upcoming HSA product (a health savings vehicle) and improve their existing Transparency product (a customized health care professional search tool).
After interviews with dozens of HR representatives and end users, we synthesized the research into actionable product goals and strategic product implementation for maximum impact with end users and customers at launch.
With the user stories ready for MVP development, we were able to define a systems framework that set a clear structure. We helped the client see value in running an experience strategy engagement on one product, in parallel with implementation of a new one.
Rapidly ideating and crafting low-fidelity, mobile-first prototypes let us test early and often with users. We were able to clearly delineate user workflows between first-time-users (who needed a large amount of set-up time) and returning users performing occasional maintenance in the application.
To move quickly between product and development teams we created story flows: in-development screens were organized into simple digestible actions to make it easier for individual team members to comment and correct content based on technical specifications, legal requirements, and even voice across Engineering, Marketing, and Product Teams.
